Animoto -Kindergarten
I really enjoyed using Animoto. I created this with two ideas in mind. First I plan to use it next week as an introduction for our Parent Meeting for Kindergarten Round-up. I thought it would give a brief overview of what one might see in a typical Kindergarten Day. My second idea was to use it with the students to give them ideas of what they might want to write about in their daily journals. I found picnik very easy to use. I cropped a few pictures, changed the color, added text, borders and speech bubbles. I will definitely use picnik again for school and personal use. I also was pleased with the ease of using freeplay music and thought the selection was amazing. To be honest I was nervous in beginning this project but everything was so easy to use and I was pleased with the outcome. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks!

Great job on your video. You used a number of effects in Picnik that really turned out nicely in your Animoto video. I love how you plan to video with both parents and students. My suggestion would be for you to embed the video on your blog. If you go into Animoto, you will see the video. Click on the video. In the bottom right you will see the video toolbox. Click it and you will find the code to copy and paste into a post on your blog. Keep up the good work!
